Description:

En el 476 despu�s de Cristo, el Imperio Romano est� amenazado por los b�rbaros. En la v�spera de la ceremonia de coronaci�n que convertir� al joven de doce a�os Romulus Augustus en emperador, su padre Orestes (Ian Glen) se niega a aceptar las peticiones del general b�rbaro Odoacer (Peter Mullan), protector de Roma. Orestes, preocupado por la seguridad de su hijo, nombra a Aurelius (Colin Firth) su guardia personal. Esa noche, Aurelius y sus legionarios se enfrentan al peligro: Odoacer y su ej�rcito b�rbaro traicionan a Roma y toman la ciudad.
