Jennifer Kate Hudson [born September 12th 1981 in Chicago, Illinois.] is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter and actress. She is one of the few actors to have won all four major screen acting awards, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, as well as a Grammy Award and more than twenty other prizes. Her self-titled debut album was released in 2008 on Arista Records and soon certified gold for more than 500,000 shipped copies, spawning the No.1 single 'Spotlight'.
'If This Isn't Love' is a song recorded by Jennifer Hudson. It was written and composed by Theron Thomas, Terry Thomas and Brian Kennedy, and produced by Kennedy for Hudson's debut album 'Jennifer Hudson' [2008]. The single entered the UK singles chart and has so far reached a peak of No.37 on downloads alone, 'If This Isn't Love' is now Hudson's second consecutive top 40 hit. The UK was also the country that saw the highest chart position for Hudson's previous single 'Spotlight'. Hudson shot a music video for the track in Los Angeles on January 26th 2009 with director Diane Martel. So far the video has peaked at No.2 on BET's 106 & Park.
