TRAMA
Le avventure di Superman (The Adventures of Superman, nota anche con il titolo non ufficiale Superman - The Animated Series) è una serie di cartoni animati basata sull'omonimo personaggio creato da Joe Shuster e Jerry Siegel per la DC Comics e realizzata dalla Warner Bros. Television dal 1996 al 2000. In Italia è andata in onda su Rete 4 nel 1998 al' interno di Game Boat e riproposta nel 2005 sul canale del digitale terrestre Boing e a poi anche su Italia 1.
A seguire sono stati prodotti due lungometraggi: Superman - L'ultimo figlio di Kripton (Superman: The Last Son of Krypton) nel 1996 unione dei primi tre episodi della serie, e Batman e Superman - I due supereroi (The Batman/Superman Movie) nel 1998 unione dei tre episodi World's Finest della seconda stagione.
La serie è stata realizzata dallo stesso team che ha creato i cartoni di Batman (Alan Burnett, Paul Dini e Bruce Timm) e porta molto di quell'esperienza a livello grafico e di contenuti.
