It's Turbo Tax 2006 Home and Business in a reasonable size. I removed junk like IE, Adobe Acrobat, and Quicken. Intuit attempts to force you to pay for Quicken anyway, and the Quicken is useless unless you do pay extra. Then I compressed it. This is from an ISO, so everything should be cool.

	Solution for Free Multiple States: 1. Install App. Select your free state and install it. 2. Once TurboTax updates with free state, close app. 3. Run regedit to open registry. 4. Go to RegKey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software. 5. Delete the entire "Intuit" key. Don't worry. The program will still be there! 6. Close regedit. 7. Open TurboTax and it should ask you to choose your free state again. 8. Choose a new state and install it. 9. Repeat process for additional states. 10. Enjoy.

	Installed but free state is not available. The only way to get state is to download via link in turbotax and it costs $30. WTF. I'm I the only one that has this issue?

	Use roginvegas fix up until step 7. When you open turbo tax tell it not to d/l the state. Next pick the state u want and d/l it. Do not install the state yet. Leave Turbo Tax open. Now go to C:\Program Files\TurboTax\Deluxe 2006\DlInst and find the file stateinst. Edit the file following the same format that it is in. StateAbbr1=WI NumberOfStates=1 is just an example of what yours looks like. When you have more that one state just add entries like so StateAbbr1=WI StateAbbr2=DE StateAbbr3=NY NumberOfStates=3 And so forth. just make sure that u get the abbreivations correct and the NumberOfStates=the same about of states u want.

	Apparently the state download isn't actually working for this torrent. There don't seem to be any Turbo Tax 2006 Home and Business torrents available that have a working state download. Perhaps Intuit is blocking it now somehow?

	some of the instructions here are correct. here are some modifications...please note that you MUST start a tax return then save it and exit turbo tax. i think this is the only way it'll download more than 1 state. i've downloaded my state already before i saw this post. i needed to dl another state and found this post very helpful. after trying these steps and figuring things on my own, i now have 5 states (4 are just for testing purposes). so, i hope this helps. 1. use roginvegas fix up until step 7 above. 2. open turbo tax, select the "Remind me next time I return" option. 4. once turbo tax loads up, open your tax return file or start a new one if you have not started one. 5. click Options \| Download State. turbo tax will ask you if you wanna save your file (option is yours). 6. check the state you wanna download. after the download turbo tax will ask you to install the state tax and then it'll restart. unfortunately you can only download 1 state...i don't think modifying the stateinst.ini as Seniorx4 suggests will help u download all of the available state tax forms. please correct me if i'm wrong here...thanks. enjoy!!!!
